Team Tennis
Harpenden Tennis Club enters teams in various local and national leagues with the aim of providing a high level of competitive tennis and also of enabling as many members as possible to take part.
The main leagues and teams are as follows:
- National Club League - 2 Men's and 1 Ladies' teams
- Herts County League - 6 Men's and 6 Ladies' teams
- Watford Leagues - Men's, Ladies' and Mixed teams
- National and County Veteran's Winter Leagues - Men's and Ladies' teams
- Winter Floodlight Leagues - Men's and Ladies' teams
- National Junior Club Championships - Boys' and Girls' teams
- Veterans Inter Club Matches - Ladies over 35s, 40s, 50s and 60s
- Veterans Inter Club Matches - Men's over 45s, 55s, 60s, 65s, 70s
- Herts Junior Leagues - Boys' and Girls' teams
In addition, adult and junior friendly matches are arranged with other local clubs. A number of Club members play in county teams and therefore County standard tennis can be seen in many Club matches as well as those County matches which are held at the Club.
